I learned that this nest has been occupied by the same eagles (Victoria and Nicholas) since 2001. There only seemed to be one of the chicks in this time that I watched. It appeared to be sleeping, but was much larger than my last eagle observation. Their nest is very large which is fascinating. It seemed to be a very windy day in Florida. I wonder when the chicks will develop the same looking feathers as their parents. I noticed that “Dandy” hatched  on 3-6-19 and “Spur” hatched on 3-8-19. Since they are about a month old now I wonder when they become independent and can go out on their own because it seems like this eagle was alone today in the nest.
